"My Life in a Nutshell"

"In Between the Beginning and the End"

“The Way it Was”

I lived in Norwich Connecticut before and when they built the first Casino…It  was in the days when people used to smile and wave when you drove by…I grew to love living in Norwich.  Route 2 was quiet except for summer beach traffic. Norwich had its usual (normal) problems and I knew everybody…The Greenville section was still there. Remember the Green Church? Remember Mohegan park and the kids Zoo that was there? You know the one. Wasn’t there a murder in Mohegan park not to long ago?  Its not the same but the park still there and the Zoo is gone. Its like there is nothing left. It’s a dead place. All those little communities around Norwich have been gutted. Today Norwich is a shell of what it used to be because of  the Casino’s greed and gambling addiction…There is literally nothing left except crime. Remember all the promises the politicians made? Here is the best part, I knew this was going to happen!
